What ammenities do you have?All sites have a fire ring and picnic table. Cabins include the use of a grill along with their fire ring and picnic table. Cabins have linens, furniture, dishes, utensils and appliances. Camp store available for last minute items or souvenirs. Public bathroom and showers are available 24 hours a day. More amenities HERE.

What hours are the store open?Summer hours are limited, please check the postings on the door for our current & future hours. Currently open everyday of the summer season from 3pm to 6pm. Morning hours vary. **Closed everyday between 11am and 3pm for campground cleaning and maintenance. ** CLOSED WINTER SEASON 2022

What are your policies?Please see our policy page for updated policies. In general, if you are unsure if your action is allowed, consult the Golden Rule, if you would not like your action done to you or your property, please do not do it here!

Can I bring my dog?We love dogs... on a leash, quiet, picked up after and non-agressive. Please see our policy on pets. Please be a good pet owner and follow our policies so other dogs can visit in the future.

Are there hiking trails?Yes! There are a lot of places to explore. We have maps to waterfalls, bluffs, dunes, forests and lakes.... so much hiking you'll need to stay the whole summer ;)

Can I just launch a boat or use your pier and not stay overnight?Yes! However, we do charge a $5 access fee as this is private property and all the road and pier maintenance falls on us as an expense. The small fee helps contribute to the upkeep of the facilities you would use.

Where can I find prices?On our Amenities page there is a listing of offerings. You may also find our site prices on our booking site, all prices are listed on the days sites are available.

Is everything reserved online, or can I drive up? What if everything is booked and I need a place to stay?"We only have a specific amount of improved sites, with parking, fire rings and picnic tables, these are all reservable online and paid for in advance. We will offer backcountry sites and parking lot overnights if there is an overflow of lodging and we are booked solid. These sites are available for reduced prices and you must inquire in the office to obtain a parking permit and instructions of where to go. We are here to help you.

What is a "Backcountry site"?"A backcountry site is a dispursed camping option we offer only when we are fully booked and there is a local need for safe places to overnight. Please inquire in the office so we can get you your overnight parking pass and a map of the best locations. All sites are pack it in - pack it out sites and leave no trace. You are welcome to use all facilities and amenities while staying on property.

Can I just come to swim?Yes! You may come just to use our swimming area. Day passes are $5 and seasonal passes are $20 meaning you can come swim every day if you'd like. Just make sure your pass is displayed in your front car window.

Can I bike in for the day?Yes! Please bike in! Discounted day passes are available for bikers, inquire in the office. We are a short biking distance from Mellen and we make a great day stop for swimming, hiking, fishing, shopping or just relaxing by the lake side.

Are there group sites?Yes, please inquire via email and let us know the size of your group to see if we can accommodate you. We love school groups and field trips. Day use options available.
