Deposit Policy

Guests may choose to pay the entire reservation total at the time the reservation is made, or guests may use the following payment plan. When a reservation is made, a 25% down payment is required. A minimum of 50% of the total reservation must be paid 90 days prior to arrival, and full payment must be made two weeks prior to arrival. Email reminders will be sent for guests on a payment plan. Once your reservation is confirmed, you are responsible for the cost of the entire length of your stay.

Cancellation Policy

If it becomes necessary to cancel a reservation, please call us as soon as possible. If a reservation is cancelled 90 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all deposits or monies paid can be transferred to an alternate open date.

If the reservation is cancelled less than 90 days prior to the scheduled arrival, we will make every effort possible to re-reserve the cabin or campsite for the reserved dates. If we are able to rent the cabin or site, a $25 change/cancellation fee will be charged, and the remainder of the deposit or monies paid may be applied to an alternate open date. However, if the cabin or campsite is not re-rented for the original reserved days, the original customer is responsible for the entire reservation total, and will not qualify for any of the deposits or monies paid to be applied to an alternate date.

Refunds are not given for early departures.

No Show Policy

No-shows will be charged 100% of the amount of the reservation, and will not qualify for deposits or monies already paid to be applied to alternate dates.

Check-in Policy

For cabins, check-in begins anytime after 2:00 PM
For RV & tent sites, check-in begins anytime after 1:00 PM

If earlier check-in is needed, please give us a call. We will try to accommodate your request.

Check-out Policy

For cabins, check-out ends 10:00 AM
For RV & campsite, check out ends 12:00 PM

If later check-out is needed, please give us a call. We will try to accommodate your request.

Pet Policy

Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground does allow pets in the cabins for an additional cleaning fee, limit two pets per cabin. Pets are also welcome to stay in the campground with their owner for free.  In all cases, pets must always remain leashed/kenneled, quiet, cleaned up after, and are not left unattended at any time. Pets are not allowed in the swimming area due to County Health Codes. 

Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in the cabins, public buildings including the bathroom, fish house and store.

All tenants will be held 100% responsible for any damages done to the property.

Firewood Policy

According to Wisconsin State Legislature NR 45.045(2)(a) No person may possess firewood that originates from an area more than 10 miles from a campground.  Firewood will be available for purchase at our store and in the town of Mellen, WI.

Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground takes every precaution to protect our customer’s information. When customers submit sensitive information via website, it is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information, such as a credit card numbers, that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just ‘surfing.’

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information off-line. All of our user’s information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a reservations specialist) are granted access to personally identifiable information. All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customer’s information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure, locked environment. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number and name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet. You will know that your connection becomes secure during the checkout process by seeing the “S” for “secure” in HTTPS://… in your browser’s address block.
